Work In Progress, Spoken Word

THE CHEMICAL YEARS

Adam Smith, Supported by Complicité.

Saturday 23 August, 8:00pm

A work-in-progress from Adam Smith – described by the Guardian as the “third Chemical Brother” for his contribution to the visual show – on his life in sound, image and invention. Part one-man show, part psychedelic-keynote, The Chemical Years is a confessional, celebratory journey through the messy worlds where art is made. From squat raves to sold-out arenas, Smith reflects on connection, creativity, and chaos – weaving together the hedonistic, the heartbreaking and the hilarious. Featuring iconic visuals created for the Chemical Brothers and The Streets, this is about making something out of the madness – and somehow making it matter.
